Odíhg Drièvgā (Drièv /gəˑ/ [preparation] [mirror]) is a subtropical Town located in the Gesiēinsu Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Odíhg Drièvgā is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Drièvgā was founded by Brandwen Rāka Watkins Medwin, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Drièvgā has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Odíhg Drièvgā receives an average of 241 cm/y (94 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Odíhg Drièvgā covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4236 m (13897 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Odíhg Drièvgā was founded durring the early 10th century, by Brandwen Rāka Watkins Medwin. The establishment of Odíhg Drièvgā was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Odíhg Drièvgā's construction back out of the project. Brandwen Rāka Watkins Medwin pushed on reguardles, and Odíhg Drièvgā was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Odíhg Drièvgā was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Drièvgā is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Odíhg Drièvgā is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of broad paverstone streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Odíhg Drièvgā's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Astonishigly, the monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

The first thing you notice about Odíhg Drièvgā is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

Civic Infrastructure

Odíhg Drièvgā has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Odíhg Drièvgā. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Odíhg Drièvgā's parks.

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Drièvgā's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is skipped in Odíhg Drièvgā.

The Mud Elemental, Large near Odíhg Drièvgā are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Odíhg Drièvgā's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves creating small tokens to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 2 via throat singing.
